John's Favorite Buckwheat Pancakes

Ingredientes

  • 12 teaspoon EnerG egg replacer
  • 24 T water
  • 5 c. lowfat soy beverage
  • 3 to 4 T molasses
  • 4 c. whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 c. buckwheat flour
  • 8 T wheat germ
  • 4 teaspoon low sodium baking pwdr
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Mix together egg replacer and water. Add in soy beverage and molasses and blend. Add in remaining ingredients and mix well. Heat a nonstick griddle over medium heat. Cook pancakes till the bottoms are golden brown and the tops begin to bubble. Flip and cook till the undersides are golden brown. Serve immediately, plain or possibly with fruit or possibly real maple syrup. Chill leftover batter. Will keep several days in a tightly covered container.
