Ingredientes
- 4 1/2 cups all purpose-flour
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- pinch of salt
- pinch of vanilla powder (or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract)
- 2 pinches of baking powder
- 3 sticks unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup milk + 1/4 cup orange blossom water, combined
- For the date filling
- One package (375 grams) pitted baking dates
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon orange blossom water
- 1/4 cup diced blanched almonds, optional
