Receta Kadalai Parupu Sundal | Navrathri Special
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Channa Dahl
- 2 tsp Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2-3 no's Red Chillies
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
- 2 Tbsp Freshly grated Coconut
- Salt for seasoning
Instructions
Pressure cook the dahl until tender but not mushy. Drain any excess water and keep it aside. Add salt while cooking the dahl.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once it is very hot add the mustard seeds. Once they start crackling, add the red chillies and asafoetida.
Add the cooked dahl and stir it until the excess remaining water evaporates and dries up. Finally sprinkle the coconut on top and turn off.
