Kahlua and Coffee and Godiva Review

One of the things I love best about being part of the Foodbuzz community is taking part in their awseome Tastemaker Program! Not only is it a fun way to be creative with a new product, but you get to try products you’ve never seen or wouldn’t buy before. Take this coffee for instance. At first glance the name “Godiva” seems like it would make for a very expensive or boutique type coffee, but in reality though the taste is very upscale and fabulous, the price is right in line with other higher end coffees and not out of line for being of such high quality.

“With uncompromising passion for quality ingredients, we expertly blend 100% Arabica beans to make each cup delicious and distinctive”

I’ve made a few pots of this Godiva Coffee, and each time I make it one of the boys has said, “What smells so good?” And they aren’t even coffee drinkers. But with flavors like Hazelnut Creme and Chocolate Truffle (the 2 flavors I received) what’s not to love? I’m not sure that I would use this on a day-to-day basis, but I would surely serve it for company and friends.

I have included a Kahlua and Coffee recipe here, but you can also go to www.godivacoffee.com for more recipes.

Kahlua and Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

Brew coffee and let cool. Add in the sugar and stir until combined. Pour into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight. In a mug or pretty glass, add frozen coffee ice cubes and pour 1 part Kahlua and 2 parts cream over the cubes. Let stand until the cubes start melting a little and than sip and enjoy!

**As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I received two types of Godiva Coffee to try and to review, all opinions are my own, as well as the recipe
