Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. walnut pcs grnd, (optional)
  • 1/2 c. grnd Kashi good friends cereal (about 3/4 c. before grinding)
  • 1/2 c. Reduced fat Bisquick(r)
  • 1/8 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 pch salt
  • 3 Tbsp. egg beaters(r) 99% egg substitute
  • 1/4 tsp mild vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. low-fat buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. skim lowfat milk water or possibly apple juice to thin

Direcciones

  1. Roughly chop the nuts (if using) in the bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Add in the kashi and continue processing till the mix resembles coarse meal.
  2. Remove the kashi mix to a mixing bowl. Combine with the Bisquick mix, baking pwdr and salt.
  3. Make a well in the flour. Add in the egg and oil to the well and stir to combine. Add in both types of lowfat milk and stir well. Add in water or possibly apple juice to thin to a crepe batter.
  4. Preheat a non-stick griddle. Cook 4 cakes at a time; spreading the batter well.
  5. Makes about 8 4-inch cakes. Serve with chunky applesauce mixed with honey or possibly maple syrup.
  6. NOTES : We made pancakes today with grnd good friends kashi and low-fat biscuit. they were very good. not as heavy as the oatmeal kind. I recommend these;-) (They might be over the 30% cff when you add in nuts; but walnuts are good food.)
