Ingredientes

  • 1 med onion, slice thin
  • 1/4 tsp garlic, mince
  • 1/2 Tbsp. olive or possibly canola oil
  • 1 x 14 1/2 oz ready-cut tomatoes, or possibly
  • 2 c. fresh tomatoes, chop
  • 16 ounce frzn mixed italian-style, vegetables
  • 1 c. tomato or possibly v8 juice
  • 1 c. reduced-sod chicken or possibly beef, broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh basil, chop (1 to 2)
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 c. macaroni noodles
  • 1 x 15 oz ca great northern beans, drain
  • 1/4 c. parmesan, shred

Direcciones

  1. In large soup pot, sauteeonion and garlic in oil over medium heat till onion is soft. Add in tomatoes, veggies, tomato juice, broth, sugar and seasonings.
  2. Bring to boil and add in macaroni and beans. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer approximately 20 min. If soup is too thick add in more tomato juice or possibly water.
  3. Serve with 1 tb Parmesan sprinkled on top.
