Ingredientes

  • 4 Tbsp. Bacon fat
  • 5 lrg Onions, coarsly minced
  • 2 lrg Pepper, green bell, minced
  • 3 x Garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Paprika, Hungarian
  • 3 lb Beef, stewing, in 1" cubes Pepper, to taste Salt, to taste
  • 6 ounce Tomato paste Lowfat sour cream, at room temp.

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Heat fat in a deep heavy pot. Cook the onions, peppers, and garlic till the onions are limp and transparent. Add in paprika and cook till it has lost its raw taste. Add in beef and remaining ingredients except lowfat sour cream. Stir well to combine. Simmer in preheated oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs or possibly till the meat is tender. Adjust oven temperature during cooking time so contents of pot remain at a simmer.
  2. Serve in shallow soup bowls with a Tbsp. of lowfat sour cream atop each serving.
