Key Lime Cake

Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt lemon cake mix (2 layer size)
  • 1 pkt lemon instant pudding (4 serv. size)
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. lime juice
  • 2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c. lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine, melted

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan. Combine dry cake mix, dry pudding mix, Large eggs, oil water and 1/4 c. lime juice in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer 2 min, then pour into prepared pan.
  2. Bake 50 to 60 min or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold in pan 25 min.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare glaze: Combine 2 c. powdered sugar with 1/3 c. lime juice, the water and melted butter. Invert cake onto cooling rack and remove pan. Return cake to pan and poke holes in hot cake with a toothpick or possibly lone tined fork. Pour glaze slowly over top of hot cake. Cold completely. Invert cake onto serving plate and dust with remaining 1/4 c. powdered sugar.
