Ingredientes

  • 3 lrg ripe avocados peeled, pitted, and cut into 1/2" pcs
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1/3 c. chopped cilantro leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/2 c. chopped red onions
  • 1/2 c. finely-minced seeded tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. finely-minced fresh jicama
  • 2 tsp extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 lb lump crabmeat picked over to remove shells and cartilage Tortilla chips for dipping

Direcciones

  1. In a large bowl, place all but 1/4 c. of the avocado pcs. Add in 2 Tbsp. of the lime juice, 2 Tbsp. of the cilantro, 1 tsp. of the jalapeno, 1/2 tsp. of the cumin, 1/4 tsp. of the garlic, 1/4 tsp. of the salt, and a healthy pinch of cayenne, and mash with the back of a fork till smooth.
  2. Add in 1/4 c. of the onions, 1/4 c. of the tomatoes and 1/4 c. of the jicama to the avocado mix, and stir well to combine.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients with the crabmeat and gently toss to combine. Fold the crabmeat mix into the mashed avocado mix, stirring to combine, but being careful not to break up the crabmeat. Season to taste.
  4. Divide among 4 chilled Martini glasses and serve with tortilla chips.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
