Ingredientes

  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. freshly grated Parmesan (3 ounce)
  • 1 (1 pound) round sour dough bread, halved horizontally
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic (can buy jar of chopped garlic) or possibly 3 cloves
  • Butter (butter)
  • 2 teaspoon fresh basil (finely minced) or possibly 2 teaspoon dry basil

Direcciones

  1. Preheat broiler. Mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic in bowl to blend. Arrange bread cut side up, on large sheet pan; butter. Broil till crispy brown (light). Watch closely. Spread mayonnaise mix over bread; broil till top is puffed and golden, watch closely. Sprinkle with minced basil. Cut into wedges and serve. Pesto could be used also or possibly parsley. Serves 12.
