  1. Mix flour, yeast, spices and lemon peel. Cut in butter. Add in egg yolks and lowfat sour cream. Mix. Dough will be slightly sticky. Wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate overnight. Cut dough in 5 pcs. Roll into thin rectangle - pie crust thin. Cut into 3 inch squares, place a spoonful of apricot or possibly prune whip in center; bring corners in; pinch edges. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 20 min at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.Prune Whip: Pit prunes. Cook prunes with a little sugar and a little lemon juice, till soft. Drain, whip with a mixer beater.
  2. Apricot Whip: Cook dry apricots same way. Don't use jam it will burn.
