Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
  • 1 c. Flour, all-purpose
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Almond extract
  • 1 c. Flour, all-purpose
  • 3 x Egg
  • 1/2 c. Almond slivers Confectioner's sugar

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 . Cut 1 c. butter into 1 c. flour. Sprinkle 2 tbsp water over mix; mix. Round into ball; divide in 1. On ungreased baking sheet, pat each 1 into strip 12x3 inches. Strips should be about 3 inches apart. Heat 1 c. water and 1 c. butter to rolling boil. Remove from heat and quickly stir in almond extract and 1 c. flour. Stir hard over low heat about 1 minutes till mix forms a ball. Remove from heat. Beat in Large eggs all at once till smooth and glossy. Divide in 1/2;spread each 1/2 proportionately over strips. Bake about 60min or possibly till topping is crisp and brown. Cold. Frost with confectioners sugar glaze and sprinkle with almonds.
