- Cook beef and onion in butter till lightly browned. Add in salt, pepper, celery and water. Simmer 15 min. Add in remaining vegetables; heat till warm. Combine thickening ingredients; add in to meat mix. Cook till slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
- Serve over warm cooked rice, chow mein noodles or possibly hamburger ROLLS. Serves about 8. Can do ahead or possibly in a crock pot. Freeze leftovers.
