Ingredientes

  • 6 c. White wheat flour
  • 2 c. Yogurt, hot
  • 1 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tsp Active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt

  1. TOPPING:4 onions - finely chopped1 lb. grnd meat1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. cinnamon3/4 c. yogurt2 Tbsp. tahini2 Tbsp. vinegar1/2 c. pine nuts 5 tomatoes - choose hard ones, minced
  2. Preheat oven to 450=A6F. Sift flour and salt together. Mix yogurt, yeast and oil; add in gradually to the flour. Mix well and knead for 20 min. Set aside till doubled in size.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare topping: SautT onions and meat in a little oil till browned. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Simmer till liquid is reduced and thickened.
  4. Knead risen dough for 2 min; divide dough into egg sized balls. Grease baking sheet. Roll each ball and place on the sheet. Spread topping on it.
  5. Bake for 15 min or possibly till browned a little.
  6. NOTES : A great yogurt dough which can be used for manayish, Middle Eastern spiced meat topping or possibly pizza.
