Ingredientes

  • 3/4 lb Grnd lamb - (90% lean)
  • 1/4 c. Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced rosemary Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 2 x Pita bread rounds Oil
  • 2 slc Red onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Rough-minced Kalamata olives
  • 2 sprg Rosemary for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Preheat barbecue or possibly grill.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine lamb, yogurt, cumin, minced rosemary, salt and pepper. Divide into two equal portions and form into two 3/4-inch thick patties. Grill burgers about 15 min, turning once. Brush pita bread with extra virgin olive oil and grill till browned on both sides.
  3. To serve, top pita with a burger, onion, feta cheese and olives. Burn rosemary sprigs for show, if you wish.
  4. This recipe yields 2 servings.
