Receta Lasagna Roll Ups
Have you ever seen those commercials that show the lasagna rolls? They always look so good...and I have always thought to myself "I can make that." So finally I did. The best part about making these, is you have a few options...you can use hamburger or sausage...or have no meat at all. You can also make a bunch and freeze them. So have fun playing around with this recipe! They are so good!
12-15 lasagna noodles-cook as directed on the box-don't over cook
- 2 cups of your favorite pasta sauce
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 garlic clove-minced
- 1 tablespoon basil
- salt and pepper
- hamburger or sausage-optional
While your cooking the pasta, have your sauce simmering, and your meat frying up (if you choose). Make sure cook the lasagna noodles al dente. Drain and let cool. In a bowl mix together the cheeses, garlic, basil, and salt and pepper. Don't be stingy on the salt. The ricotta needs it. In a 9x13 baking dish, layer a small amount of your sauce on the bottom of the dish (if you added meat, mix the meat in the sauce first). Once the lasagna has cooled, start assembling. Take about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture and spread on one lasagna noodle. Roll and lay seem side down on the pan. Continue until pan is filled. Layer with the rest of the sauce. Then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
