Ingredientes

  • 8 cups popped corn(1/2 cup raw corn)
  • 3/4 c almonds whole and toasted
  • 3/4 c whole pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1/4 c golden corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Direcciones

  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. place popcorn in a really big bowl
  3. add toasted nuts and combine
  4. place butter, sugar, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil at low heat
  5. boil for 8 minutes, stirring only once
  6. remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla
  7. pour over popcorn and nut mixture while hot and toss with wooden spoons until well coated
  8. spread on parchment lines baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes
  9. stir with a spatula once while baking
  10. let cool and break into bite sized chunks
  11. store in airtight container or cookie tins
