Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb Grnd beef
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt
  • 1 pkt (1 1/4 ounce) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 c. Diced tomatoes, fresh or possibly canned
  • 2 can Tomato sauce (8 ounces each)
  • 1 can (4 ounce) diced green chilies
  • 8 ounce Ricotta cheese
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 9 x Corn tortillas
  • 10 ounce Jack cheese, shredded

Direcciones

  1. Brown grnd beef in large skillet till crumbly. Drain fat. Add in seasoned salt, taco seasoning mix, tomatoes, tomato sauce and chiles. Blend well.
  2. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 min. In small bowl, combine ricotta cheese and Large eggs. In bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish, spread half of meat mix. Top with half of tortillas. Spread half of ricotta cheese mix over tortillas and top with half of Jack cheese. Repeat once more, ending with grated cheese.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 min. Let stand 10 min before cutting into squares.
  4. Makes 8 servings.
  5. notes: Made this 3-3-97. Omitted seasoned salt, one can tomato sauce and the chilies. Used ready cut Italian seasoned tomatoes and 1 c. chunky picante sauce. Great recipe- tastes just like the dish Lawry's made.
