Ingredientes

  • 1/2 lb elbow macaroni cooked
  • 4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese - (16 ounce) divided
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp paprika

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 2-qt baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Layer 1/3 of the macaroni in the baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 c. cheese. Repeat the layers; top with the remaining macaroni. Reserve the remaining 1 c. cheese.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Large eggs, lowfat milk, salt, and pepper till blended; pour over the macaroni.
  4. Cover and bake for 45 min, or possibly till heated through. Uncover and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the paprika. Cover and let stand for 10 min before serving.
  5. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
