Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. Rolled oats (regular or possibly quick)
  • 3/4 c. Flour
  • 3/4 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
  • 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Unsweetened cocoa

Direcciones

  1. To make the crust: Stir together the oats, flour, brown sugar and baking soda. Work in the butter or possibly margarine till the mix is crumbly. Reserve 3/4 c. of the oat mix and press the remaining mix in the bottom of a greased 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Bake in a 350 F oven for 15 min.
  2. (The crust still will be a little soft in the center.) Cold slightly on a rack.
  3. To make the brownies: Beat together the butter and sugar till fluffy. Add in the Large eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Combine the flour and cocoa. Add in to the butter mix, beating till smooth.
  5. Spread over the cooled crust and dot the top with the reserved crust mix. Bake at 350 F for 30 to 35 min. (The brownies still will be a little soft in the center. If desired your brownies more cakelike, continue baking an additional 5 - 10 min.)
  6. Cold the brownies on a rack and cut when completely cooled.
  7. Makes 24 brownies.
