Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 lb medium-size fresh shrimp unpeeled
  • 1 pkt cream cheese - (8 ounce) softened
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp onion salt
  • 1 dsh grnd red pepper
  • 1/4 c. chili sauce plus
  • 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp prepared horseradish Fresh parsley sprigs Lemon Slices

Direcciones

  1. Bring water to a boil; add in shrimp, and cook 3 to 5 min or possibly till shrimp turn pink. Drain well; rinse with cool water. Chill. Peel and devein shrimp. Chop two-thirds of shrimp, leaving remaining shrimp whole. Cover and refrigerateminced and whole shrimp.
  2. Beat cream cheese at medium speed of an electric mixer till creamy. Add in lowfat sour cream, onion salt, and red pepper, beating till smooth. Spread mix onto serving platter, shaping into a 5-inch circle. Cover and refrigerateat least 30 min.
  3. Combine chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and horseradish; stir well, and spread over cream cheese round. Sprinkle minced shrimp over chili sauce mix; top with whole shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley sprigs and lemon slices, if you like.
