Ingredientes

  • 1 pound extra lean grnd beef
  • 1/2 pound grnd pork
  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/4 dry onion, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 sm. can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 of a green pepper, minced
  • 1 lg. loose leafed cabbage
  • 3/4 bottle catsup

Direcciones

  1. Cook rice and cool. Steam cabbage and remove leaves as they get limp. Mix meats, spices, egg, cooked rice, salt and pepper, green pepper, and onion. Place a heaping tbsp of mix on each leaf and roll. Put all "pigs" in baking or possibly roasting pan. Pour tomato sauce and catsup over "pigs" and bake for 2 hrs at 350 degrees.
