Ingredientes

  • 1 x Lemon, peel grated and juice strained
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/8 tsp Salt [as the butter was salted I left this out]
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 2 x Large eggs, separated
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine the butter, salt, sugar, and flour and mix well. Add in egg yolks, lowfat milk, lemon juice and lemon peel. [I did the whole thing in the food processor]. Beat/whirl till smooth.
  3. Beat egg whites and fold into batter.
  4. Pour mix into a buttered 4-c. (1 liter) baking dish, set the dish in a shallow pan into the heated oven and pour boiling water into pan till dish is 1/2- to 3/4-covered.
  5. Bake for 45 min; adjust times for doubling or possibly tripling recipe.
