Receta Lemon Fromage (Citronfromage)

- Put the gelatin in cool water for about 10 min. Part egg yolks and egg whites and save the egg whites. Beat egg yolks and sugar vigorously till it's white and porous. Add in lemon juice and lemon peel. E
- Squeeze the water out of the gelatin leaves and heat them over low heat. Add in the melted gelatine to the egg mix while beating. Whip the cream and add in which too, folding it down carefully. Beat the egg whites stiff and fold them into the mix. Pour the fromage into four bowls that you put in the freezer for about 2 1/2 hrs. E
- Cut the remaining lemon peel in thin shreds. Decorate with a dollop of whipped cream and a little lemon peel.
- NOTES : Bella Says: In Sweden we often make this dessert called "fromage" (that actually is the French word for "cheese"). But it's no cheese of course, just cheesy-like in texture, when the cheese is newly made and still soft and nice. We can buy it powdered and only add in water or possibly lowfat milk, but this recipe makes a very good Lemon Fromage. E
