- Lemon juice - 2tbsp
- Turmeric - ¼tsp
- Salt - to taste
- For tempering:
- Chana dal - 2tsp
- Urad dal - 2tsp
- Peanuts - 1tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Dry red chilies - 2
- Ginger - 1tsp finely grated (from about ½" piece)
- Green Chilies - 2~4 (adjust as per taste preference)
- Asafoetida/ Hing - ¼tsp
