Sweet, ripe green figs, lemon & rosemary create a marvelous confection to serve with bold cheeses as an appetizer - or even with a memorable breakfast
Wash & pare the stems from the figs
Add the figs, sugar & water to the saucepan
Mash the figs with a wooden spoon as they heat, stirring to melt the sugar
cut the lemon zest into pieces
Finely mince the fresh rosemary leaves
add the minced rosemary to the pot...
...and in a couple of hours, you have a delicious, flavorful jam, ready to pour into sterile jars
