Ingredientes

  • martha white's southern samp
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. martha white self-rising corn meal mix
  • 1 Tbsp. martha white self-rising flour
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine melted (1/2 stick)
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
  • 1 x unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Stir together sugar, corn meal, and flour in mixing bowl. Add in Large eggs, butter, lowfat milk, lemon juice, and lemon peel; beat with electric mixer on medium speed till blended and smooth. Pour filling into pastry shell. Bake for 35 to 40 min or possibly till knife inserted one inch from center comes out clean and top is very brown. Don't overbake. Cold on wire rack.
