Receta Lentil soup
Rustic bean soup flavored with bacon. If your family don't like beans, they will love it !

- Cut bacons into 1/2 inch pieces. In a heavy Dutch oven, cook bacons over low heat until crisp. Add minced onion and garlic cloves,and chopped carrots. Cook them until softened.
- Stir in tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add dried thyme and rinsed lentils, water, soup cube.Bring to boil and simmer. Cover; cook until the lentils are soften about 30 minutes.
- Add the red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Sprinkle your favorite cheese or crouton.
