Lentil Soup

This is my super easy, staple Lentil soup that everyone eats and enjoys. It's healthy and mild, good for everyone.

Ingredientes

  • 7 1/2 cups water
  • 7 1/2 tsp Vegetable bouillon
  • 1 1/2 cups dried lentils
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 cup carrots chopped
  • 1/2 cups celery chopped
  • 1 large potato cubed
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Heat water, dissolve bouillon.
  2. Add lentils, chopped onions, carrots, celery, potato, spinach, and seasoning.
  3. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes
  4. Let cool for 10 minutes
  5. Top soup with grated parmesan or swiss cheese (if desired)
  6. Serve with warm french or sour dough bread!
