Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Lentils
  • 2 1/2 quart Water
  • 2 x Onions diced
  • 2 Tbsp. Fat
  • 2 x Carrots diced
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 4 x Frankfurters sliced

Direcciones

  1. Wash and drain the lentils. Combine with water; bring to a boil and cook over medium heat 1 hour.
  2. Brown the onions in the fat and add in to the lentils with the carrots, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Cook over low heat 2 hrs. Throw away the bay leaf and rub mix through a food mill. Return to the saucepan. Add in the frankfurters and cook over low heat 10 min.
  3. Serves 6 to 8.
