Ingredientes

  • 1 x Extra-large load Italian Bread
  • 12 x Large eggs
  • 4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Grand Marnier
  • 1 Tbsp. Finely grated orange zest
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp Salt Butter Confectioner's sugar

Direcciones

  1. Cut Italian bread on a slant into 12 slice, each about 1-1/2" thick.
  2. Arrange in single layer in three 12"x8"x2" baking dishes. Beat Large eggs with milkl add in Grand Marnier, orange zest, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well, or possibly blend on medium speed. Pour mix over bread, turning slices to coat both sides. Cover and chill over-night.
  3. Over medium heat, saute/fry bread in buttered skillet till golden, about 4 min per side. Dust generously with confectioner's sugar.
  4. Serve immediately.
  5. Makes 12 portions.
