Receta Lime Mousse

- In a small saucepan soften gelatin in limeade and water for 5 min.
- Stir in food color. Heat and stir till gelatin is dissolved and mix is very warm.
- Gradually stir about half of the warm gelatin mix into beaten egg yolks; return all to saucepan. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
- Cook and stir 2 min more. Remove from heat. Refrigeratepan in ice water for 8 to 10 min, stirring frequently. Remove from ice water; set aside.
- Immediately beat egg whites till stiff peaks from. Fold about 1/2 c. of the stiffly beaten egg whites into the gelatin mix. Fold gelatin mix into remaining egg whites. Mix in thawed cold whip topping.
- Transfer mix to a 1 1/2-qt dish. Cover and refrigerateabout 6 hrs or possibly overnight. Garnish with lime slices.
