Ingredientes

  • 16 ounce linguine salt
  • 12 ounce shrimp shelled & deveined
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 med onion minced
  • 2 x cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
  • 28 ounce tomatoes

Direcciones

  1. In a saucepot prepare pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions.
  2. Add in shrimp during last 3 min of cooking pasta; cook till opaque throughout. Drain pasta and shrimp; return to saucepot.
  3. Meanwhile in a non stick 12 inch skillet heat oil over medium heat.
  4. Reduce heat and add in onion and cook 8 min till tender crisp.
  5. Add in garlic and crushed red pepper and cook 30 seconds longer, stirring.
  6. Stir in wine; cook 30 seconds. Add in tomatoes with their puree and 1/4 tsp salt; heat to boiling stirring and breaking up tomatoes.
  7. Pour tomato sauce over liquid removed pasta; toss to mix well.
