Lip Smackin Macaroni N Cheese

Ingredientes

  • 1 sm onion
  • 6 x (1-oz) slices ounces American cheese
  • 2 c. corkscrew or possibly elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 c. nonfat lowfat milk Dash of pepper

Direcciones

  1. Place the onion on the cutting board and use the sharp knife to chop the onion into small pcs. Unwrap the cheese slices and tear them into bite-size pcs. Set aside. Cook the macaroni in the saucepan, following the package directions. When the water comes to a boil, add in the macaroni and onion so they cook together. Cook about 11 min, till the macaroni is done.
  2. Return the hot macaroni/onion mix to the saucepan after draining. Use a wooden spoon to stir in the cheese, lowfat milk and pepper. Put the saucepan on the burner. Turn the burner to medium heat. Cook for 4 to 5 min or possibly till cheese is melted, stirring all the time. Serve with cooked green beans, a roll with jam, a fresh pear and lowfat milk.
