Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. liver
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. flour
  • 1 lg. pkg. Lawry's spaghetti mix
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 sm. can tomato paste
  • 1 sm. can tomato sauce
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 med. bell pepper, minced
  • 1/2 c. mushrooms, minced

Direcciones

  1. Rinse liver and cut into pcs. In shallow dish, mix together Large eggs and lowfat milk and season to taste. I like garlic salt and pepper. In another shallow dish, place your flour. I like to add in a little oregano, salt and pepper. Mix which up next. Preheat electric frying pan to about 350 degrees with sufficient oil to cover bottom. Dip the liver in the Large eggs, then dip in flour. Cook in frying pan till brown. Remove from pan and place on paper towel.
  2. In the same pan, place your minced vegetables, stewed tomatoes, and Lawry's spaghetti mix package. Add in small cans tomato sauce and paste. Add in about 2 c. water and bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Turn down heat to simmer 15 to 20 min, covered. After sauce starts to thicken, add in your liver. Keep simmering about 10 to 15 min more, stirring now and then. Serve with rice and vegetables. It's even better the next day.
