Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Frzn whole strawberries (unsweetened) Sugar
  • 3 c. All-purpose flour, PLUS:
  • 2 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 1/4 c. Oil
  • 4 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/4 c. Minced pecans

Direcciones

  1. Place strawberries in medium bowl. Sprinkle lightly with sugar to taste.
  2. Let strawberries stand till thawed, then slice.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking soda in large bowl and mix well.
  4. Blend oil and Large eggs into strawberries. Add in to flour mix. Stir pecans, blending till dry ingredients are just moistened. Divide batter between pans. Bake loaves till tester inserted in centers comes out clean, about 45 to 50 min. Let cold in pans on rack for 10 min. Turn loaves out and cold completely.
  5. Makes 2 loaves.
