Ingredientes

  • 6 1/2 c. cooked & mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 6 Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 (13 ounce.) cans evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2 sticks (1 c.) butter
  • 2 uncooked (9") pastry shells
  • Pecans & whipped cream for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients (through the butter) together, pour into uncooked fluted pie shells. Bake at 475 degrees for 10 min. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 45 min. Garnish with pecans and whipped cream. Makes 2 pies.
