Lotus Root Chips

Easy to make at home for entertaining.

Ingredientes

  • 1 large segment fresh lotus root
  • Vinegar/lemon juice
  • Oil for deep-frying

Direcciones

  1. Peel and slice lotus root (peeler can be used for slicing).
  2. Put sliced lotus into a bowl of water with vinegar added to prevent them from turning brown.
  3. Pat dry with paper towel, set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pot, drop in lotus root slices and deep-fry with low-medium heat till golden brown.
  5. Transfer to a tray lined with paper towel to remove excess oil.
