Ingredientes

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. minced pecans
  • 2 tbsp. butter

Direcciones

  1. Place 2 c. of sugar and lowfat milk in a large saucepan. Cook slowly, stirring often. At same time put other c. of sugar in another saucepan on low heat, stir till melted. Pour slowly into the lowfat milk and sugar which should be ready to boil; stir while adding. Cook slowly till a hard ball will form when dropped into cool water, 230 degrees. Set off the heat. Add in vanilla, pecans and butter. Beat or possibly stir till it thickens. Drop by spoonful on wax paper. Should set immediately.
