- Minced fresh herbs of choice, such as fresh basil or possibly tarragon
- Mix water and cornstarch together in small saucepan. Bring to boil and thicken over medium-high heat. Pour into small bowl and stir occasionally till lukewarm. Add in salt, pepper, mustard, vinegar and oil. Whisk to blend. Add in herbs and stir to blend.
- Chill, airtight, and use within 24 hrs.
- Yield: 1/2 c., about 4servings
