Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb cooked chicken breasts (any method of cooking will do)
  • 3 c. shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. minced tomatoes
  • 6 x flour tortillas - (6" dia)
  • 6 Tbsp. fat-free lowfat sour cream
  • 6 Tbsp. salsa
  • 6 Tbsp. fat-free cheddar or possibly jack cheese

Direcciones

  1. Combine the chicken, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, and onions in a large bowl.
  2. Heat the tortillas by placing them one at a time in a dry skillet and turn once till golden brown and puffy.
  3. To assemble the tostadas, place a tortilla on a plate, top with some of the chicken mix and garnish with lowfat sour cream, salsa, and cheese. Repeat with all tortillas.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
  5. Serving size: 1/6 of recipe.
