Low Fat Coconut Pie Crust

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/3 c. all- purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lower-in-fat grated coconut
  • 3 Tbsp. light margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp coconut-flavoured extract

Direcciones

  1. Spray a 9" pie pan with vegetable oil cooking spray: set aside. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees In large mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar and coconut.
  2. Toss to mix well. Add in the margarine and flavouring.
  3. Stir till the mix is moist and crumbly.
  4. Press the crust over the bottom and up the sides of the pie pan, using your fingers or possibly the back of a spoon. You may want to dip your fingers or possibly the spoon into sugar to keep crumbs from sticking.
  5. Bake for 20 min. Let cold to room temperature.
  6. Fill as desired.
  7. Makes 1- 9" crust
