Ingredientes

  • 2 cups broken macaroni
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 Tbls butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbls flour
  • 1/4 Tsp pepper
  • 3/4 cup vegetable liquid
  • 1 1/4 cups ground cooked meat
  • 1 cup drained vegetable, freshly cooked or canned
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or corn flakes
  • 2 Tbls melted butter or margarine

Direcciones

  1. cook macaroni until tender in boiling slated water using 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  2. drain and rinse with hot water
  3. melt butter blend in flour, 1 tsp salt, and pepper
  4. stir in vegetable liquid slowly
  5. stir and boil 2 minutes
  6. stir in milk and heat well
  7. remove from heat
  8. add drained macaroni, grated cheese, meat, and vegetable
  9. pour into 2 quart greased casserole
  10. sprinkle top with mixture of bread crumbs or corn flakes and melted butter
  11. bake in moderate oven (375 F) until crumbs are brown (10 minutes)
