Madame Chocolate's Marbled Brownies

Ingredientes

  • 4 ounce. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 c. unsalted butter
  • 1 c. walnuts, minced
  • 4 lg. Large eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 ounce. cream cheese

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour 9 x 13 baking pan. Heat chocolate and butter in heavy saucepan over low heat; set aside to cold.
  2. In a mixer bowl, beat 3 Large eggs till well blended. Slowly beat in 2 c. of sugar; beat for 1 minute. Add in flour, salt, 1 tsp. vanilla, and nuts. Add in melted chocolate; blend well. Spread half the chocolate batter into pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with 1/2 c. sugar till smooth. Add in 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla; beat till thoroughly blended. Add in white batter to pan. Add in remaining chocolate batter on top of white batter by spoonfuls. Lightly swirl the batter using the tip of a knife. It should look mottled.
  4. Bake for 20 min at 350 degrees and then lower temp- erature to 325 degrees and bake an additional 20 min.
  5. Cold brownies in pan on rack. Cut into squares. Can be frzn if well wrapped.
