Ingredientes

  • 2 c. rice (not instant) small handful of vermicelli noodles broken
  • 4 c. chicken broth salt and pepper
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds

Direcciones

  1. Add in 1/2 of the butter to a saucepan. Add in the rice and vermicelli. Brown lightly. Stir in the chicken broth. Cook till all of the liquid is absorbed.
  2. (about 20 min) Season to taste. In a small skillet heat the butter and cook the almonds till golden. Add in to the rice and serve warm.
  3. Imagine the look on your children's faces when you tell them you're having frog's eyes for dinner!
