Ingredientes

  • 1 lb plain flour
  • 6 ounce malt extract
  • 4 ounce brown sugar
  • 2 ounce margarine
  • 4 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 ounce sultanas or possibly currants
  • 1/2 pt soya lowfat milk or possibly water

Direcciones

  1. Gently heat the margarine, malt and sugar. Cold. Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl and stir in the malt mix and the soya lowfat milk. Add in the dry fruit. Turn into a greased, floured 2 Lb loaf tin and bake at 325F, gas 3 for an hour and a half.
