%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELaddoo%20is%20a%20sweet%20item,%20usually%20round%20or%20ball%20shaped%20and%20it%20is%20commonly%20served%20during%20festivals%20and%20special%20occassions%20all%20over%20India.%20By%20the%20way,%20I%20love%20anything%20mango%20flavoured%20and%20Mango%20is%20my%20favorite%20fruit.%20This%20laddoo%20that%20I%20am%20sharing%20with%20you%20is%20prepared%20using%20Mango%20pulp%20and%20grated%20coconut%20and%20flavored%20with%20some%20cardamom%20(elachi).%20Since%20pistachios%20are%20another%20favorite%20of%20mine%20I%20have%20added%20crushed%20pistachios%20to%20the%20mango%20flavored%20laddoo.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20took%20this%20recipe%20by%20checking%20several%20fellow%20blogger%20friend's%20sites%20who%20has%20made%20this%20and%20I%20made%20slight%20changes%20according%20to%20my%20taste%20and%20ingredient%20availability.%20It%20came%20out%20really%20well%20and%20Manish%20who%20isn't%20much%20of%20a%20sweets%20lover%20really%20enjoyed%20these%20cuties.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMango%20Coconut%20Laddoo%20Recipe%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou'll%20need%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPistachios%20(halved)%20-%201%20for%20each%20laddoo%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Keep%20a%20nonstick%20pan%20on%20medium%20heat%20and%20start%20by%20roasting%20the%20cocnut%20until%20it%20starts%20to%20become%20dry%20and%20the%20raw%20smell%20goes%20off.%20(Make%20sure%20the%20coconut%20is%20nicely%20dried%20but%20not%20browned)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Next%20add%20the%20mango%20pulp%20and%20keep%20stirring,%20as%20soon%20the%20misture%20starts%20to%20dry%20up%20add%20the%20cardamom%20powder%20and%20keep%20mixing%20until%20it%20dries%20up%20completely.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Add%20the%20condensed%20milk%20and%20cook%20till%20the%20mixture%20thickens%20and%20leaves%20the%20side%20of%20the%20pan.%20(%20It%20should%20be%20able%20to%20form%20a%20dough%20on%20it%20own%20when%20mixed%20together,%20thats%20the%20consistency%20you%20should%20look%20for)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Add%20in%20the%20chopped%20or%20crushed%20pistachios%20and%20mix%20well%20and%20turn%20off%20the%20heat.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Make%20small%20rounds%20while%20the%20mixture%20is%20warm%20(not%20hot),%20but%20do%20not%20allow%20to%20cool.%20(%20I%20took%20a%20teaspoon%20measure%20and%20rolled%20them%20into%20small%20balls)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20garnishing:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20You%20may%20roll%20them%20in%20extra%20coconut%20.%20(%20I%20rolled%20them%20in%20dry%20coconut%20powder)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Or%20you%20may%20just%20press%20in%20a%20halved%20pistachio%20in%20the%20centre%20of%20each%20laddoo.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EImportant%20and%20Useful%20Tips%20and%20Suggestions:%201.%20By%20dry%20coconut%20powder%20,%20I%20do%20not%20mean%20the%20powdered%20form%20which%20is%20used%20to%20prepare%20coconut%20milk,%20it%20has%20to%20be%20slightly%20flaky%20or%20grainy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20%20a)%20If%20using%20fresh%20grated%20coconut%20:%20Roast%20the%202%20cups%20only%20until%20the%20coconut%20feels%20dry%20(as%20if%20it%20is%20moist%20it%20may%20add%20more%20moisture%20to%20the%20laddoo),%20but%20do%20not%20roast%20until%20it%20turns%20brown.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eb)%20If%20using%20dry%20coconut%20powder%20/%20dry%20coconut%20flakes%20:%20Roast%20just%20for%202-3%20minutes%20,%20only%20until%20the%20raw%20smell%20wears%20off%20as%20it%20is%20already%20dry%20and%20can%20hold%20the%20mango%20pulp%20and%20condensed%20milk%20mixture%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E***%20REMEMBER,%20if%20your%20laddoo%20feel%20very%20soft%20and%20is%20not%20forming%20a%20good%20ball%20,%20add%20some%20more%20roasted%20dry%20coconut%20powder%20(or%20roast%20some%20more%20fresh%20grated%20coconut%20)%20,%20just%201-2%20tsp%20at%20a%20time%20until%20the%20mixture%20is%20able%20to%20form%20a%20firm%20but%20soft%20dough%20that%20can%20be%20rolled%20into%20balls.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20not%20wait%20until%20the%20mixture%20is%20completely%20cooled%20to%20roll,%20start%20rolling%20while%20its%20still%20warm.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%7BI%20have%20added%20these%20tips%20due%20to%20lot%20of%20requests%20and%20questions%20on%20how%20to%20make%20these%20laddoos%20and%20apparently%20few%20who%20made%20these%20said%20it%20was%20a%20super%20hit!!!%20Thank%20You!!!%20:-)%20%7D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20laddo%20has%20a%20nice%20and%20mild%20mango%20flavor%20and%20the%20coconut%20gives%20it%20a%20lovely%20chewyness%20and%20its%20just%20aptly%20sweetened%20from%20the%20condensed%20milk%20and%20the%20mango%20pulp%20and%20the%20mild%20cardamom%20flavor%20and%20its%20aroma%20brings%20this%20sweet%20dish%20to%20a%20completely%20different%20level..%20This%20recipe%20is%20definitely%20a%20keeper%20and%20I'm%20sure%20you%20will%20love%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20shared%20this%20with%20few%20of%20my%20friends%20and%20they%20all%20called%20back%20to%20say%20how%20much%20they%20liked%20it.%20I%20made%20very%20small%20laddoos%20and%20I%20was%20able%20to%20make%20about%2030%20laddoos%20,%20I%20made%20them%20small%20so%20that%20they%20just%20a%20bite%20size%20and%20anyone%20and%20everyone%20can%20enjoy%20the
