Mango Pickle

Ingredientes

  • 1 semi/unripe mango - remove seed and cubed.
  • 2 tbsp gingerly oil
  • 1/2 tbsp plain chili powder
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric/kunyit
  • A pinch of asafetida powder
  • 1/2 cup vinegar (more of less depending on taste)
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar (quantity depends on the sweetest of mango)
  • 3-4 sprigs curry leaves
  • Salt for taste

Direcciones

  1. In the heated oil, splatter mustard seeds.
  2. Add chili and turmeric powder.
  3. Quickly stir and goes in all the other ingredients.
  4. Stir and cook mango to a texture or crunch you prefer.
  5. Remove and once cool down, pack in bottle and store in fridge.
