Mango Sticky Rice

This dessert is a sheer pleasure of fragrant sticky rice smeared with generous pool of coconut milk and palm sugar syrup and eaten with fresh mango cubes.

Ingredientes

  • 1 cup glutinous rice -soaked overnight and drained
  • 2-3 pieces of pandan/screwpine leaves
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk
  • 100g palm sugar
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • Salt as needed
  • Fresh mango cubes (as needed)

Direcciones

  1. Steam rice with pandan and a pinch of salt till light and fluffy.
  2. Warm up coconut milk.
  3. Make syrup with both types of sugar.
  4. Serve all together with mango cubes.
