Receta Maple Glazed Yams With Pecan Topping

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Butter 13 x 9 x 2 inch glass baking dish. Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add in yams. Cook till water returns to a simmer, about 4 min. Drain. Rinse under cool water. Arrange yams in prepared dish, overlapping slightly. Season with salt. Pour syrup over yams. Dot with 3 Tbsp. butter. Cover and bake till yams are almost tender, about 25 min. Mix flour and brown sugar in medium bowl. Add in remaining 5 Tbsp. butter. Rub in with fingers till mix resembles coarse meal. Fold in pecans. Sprinkle pecan mix atop yams. Bake till yams are tender, about 20 minutes.
